Wessling, June 18th 2012 - RAYLASE, market leader for innovations, solutions, and products for laser beam deflection, modulation and control has expanded its portfolio with digital scan heads for high-end applications. Due to digital electronic regulation the heads enable highly accurate marking, different process optimized tunings, improved dynamics and numerous diagnostic options. Here, RAYLASE has developed the control algorithms with attention to particular low-noise design.

High speed and compact design: FOCUSSHIFTER CS sets new standards
Weßling, Juni 14, 2012 – RAYLASE AG, market leader for innovations and products for laser beam deflection, modulation and control is introducing its new FOCUSSHIFTER Compact Size at LASYS 2012 (hall 4/booth C12). With this new component from the product series FOCUSSHIFTER RAYLASE enables 2,5 and 3D processing in compact size and unrivalled speeds.
For the new FOCUSSHIFTER CS the RAYLASE team has developed a more compact version of the patented dual motor. Due to this new design it is now possible to operate the objective faster and more precisely. This technology additionally increases speed and precision of laser beam control and thus makes the 3-axis subsystem the fastest of its kind worldwide.

RAYLASE presents 3D position detection
Live demonstration at LASYS 2012, hall 4/ booth C 12
Weßling, June, 04 2012 – as a worldwide innovation RAYLASE presents work piece position detection combined with a 3-axis subsystem at LASYS 2012 in hall 4, booth C 12. For the first time this enables detecting and processing of objects independent of their orientation and position in 3-dimensional space. This solution is based on the compact and modular RAYLASE AXIALSCAN subsystems, which, in addition to the basic version, are available in High Power, High Speed and Low Drift versions. Furthermore RAYLASE offers the system both as off-axis solution for big field sizes and as on-axis for small fields and for process validation.

Compact Size and High Performance: the Impressive AXIALSCAN–12
Weßling, May 21st 2012 - RAYLASE AG extends its line of 3-axis subsystems with the AXIALSCAN-12. The AXIALSCAN-12 is extremely compact and allows for simultaneous dynamic focus adjustment at speeds of up to 30 m/s. This enables materials processing at high speeds even on uneven 3D-shapes.
The new 3-axis subsystem concept comprising the patented, compact double-motor-Z-axis allows for extremely fast and precise processing of a variety of materials in different shapes and sizes with very small spot diameters and in state-of-the-art quality.

As a worldwide innovation this software is the first to allow for markings in real three-dimensional space. Any markings on non-flat surfaces that can be defined by a STL file are now possible. Furthermore, weldMARK 3D masters applications whose markings are defined by 3D dxf or plt files. RAYLASE will showcase weldMARK 3D live at the Laser World of Photonics in Munich, Hall C2, booth 145.
