2-Axis Laser Beam Deflection Units
|
|

RAYLASE provides a selection of 2-axis units suitable for various applications starting from the compact MINISCAN, extremely precise & fast SUPERSCAN-II, SUPERSCAN-II-HS, SUPERSCAN-II Enhanced and the water tempered SUPERSCAN-II-LD for low drift applications. All these products set industry standards with low drift values and are sold with a combination of lenses.

Functional Description The RAYLASE 2-axis deflection unit can be used to deflect a laser beam in X and Y directions. This produces a two-dimensional area allowing a laser to be directed at any position. This area is known as the "marking field” as is shown in the diagram. Deflection is performed by two mirrors, each of which is moved by a galvanometer scanner. The deflection unit has a beam input, into which the laser beam is fed, and a beam output, through which a laser beam is emitted from the unit after deflection. Only compatible lasers can be fed into the beam input. Depending on the laser version, the beam output is either open or fitted with an F-Theta lens or protection window.
MINISCAN MINISCAN, these mini XY- Deflection units are the smallest in the RAYLASE family, designed for easy integration into compact laser systems. The size and performance ratio of this unit is remarkable, available for various wavelengths in 7,10,12,14, 20 mm apertures.

SUPERSCAN-II The SUPERSCAN-II series in twin shell design combines minimum drift performance with top speeds. This combination makes it a true champion among deflection units. The innovative thermal management and modular design make the SUPERSCAN II the perfect deflection unit for demanding laser applications. The "enhanced” option offers a 50% better long-term drift performance. Long-term drift can even be further minimized by an additional water tempering. Read more
SUPERSCAN-III The SUPERSCAN-III Digital-series scan heads in twin-shell design with digital servo circuitry enhances dynamic performance and quality with a range of diagnosis possibilities such as status information of the mirrors, failure alert, temperature and mirror speed. Read more |

TURBOSCAN The TURBOSCAN series, available with aperture of 30 mm, and offers advanced speeds and low drift values for combination with a 3-axis subsystem. The precision mechanics and tuning achieves greater accuracy and the dielectric mirrors support the use of higher laser powers, up to a maximum of 500 W.
