POWER CONTROL DEVICE RAYLASE developed its patented PCD technology to resolve the issues of power instabilities with CO2 lasers, which is a limiting factor for certain applications. External optical control and stabilisation of CO2 laser power using the patented PCD method enables precision laser processing of stationary or moving materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic films and other forms with CO2 lasers. Previously these applications frequently failed due to laser power fluctuations or insufficient control of laser power in terms of the deflection unit's processing speed. Consequences included over processing of material and/or damage to the base material in the corners of the cutting geometry.
RAYLASE offers three PCD modules. CO2 Module PCD Attenuator CO2 Module PowStab® CO2 Module I-PCD®
